Role: Retek Engineer - Migration
Skills:Oracle forms & reports, pro*c, unix shell scripting, PL/SQL
3-4 years of experience having workedon ERP background or
Candidates with min 1 year experience on Retek retailing software

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a Tesco standard approach to data migration from legacy systems to Tescocore systems and solutions
2. Assist Programme Management locally and in the Group define a path through the programme whichallows for critical data migration and initiates these activities in a timely manner. The Data migration Analyst must create and design a Data migration approach/strategy using theRetek database (backend) knowledge and previous data migration knowledge and experience
3. Provide data migration support and expertise to the programme teams
4. Provide in depth data migration process knowledge and data migration project managementexpertise during the implementation cycle.
5. Provide data migration support during the warranty period for any regular incremental migrationswhich may be required, before the hand over to theregular support team.
