Designation: Solutions Engineer (1 position)
Job Description: Java Server Side developer position.
REQUIRED
· Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent in computer science
· At least 2-3 years of core Java programming experience
· At least 1+ year of hands on experience in J2EE / EJB 2.0
· Creation of EJB JAR, EAR experience
· Experience of using the following application servers: Jboss, WebSphere 5.x, WebLogic 7.x preferable is 8.x
· Database knowledge of Oracle 9i and MS SQL2000
· Understanding of JDBC, JAAS
· Understanding of Design Patterns (J2EE & GoF)
· Experience of UML, JUnit

BIG PLUS
· Performance & Tuning of J2EE application
· Fail-over and Load balancing of Application Servers

NICE TO HAVE
· Experience programming LDAP
· Experience programming in Web Services
· Experience programming in Java Custom Tag Library
· Experience / understanding of portlets using Java, JSR 168
· Understanding of SOAP
· Understanding of SSO, SSL
· CMM background

GENERAL
· Team player
· Good communication, written skills
· Ability to work independently

REQUIRED
· Bachelors or higher degree or equivalent in computer science
· At least 2 years of core Java programming experience
· At least 1+ year of hands on experience in JSP, Servlets
· At least 1+ year of programming in DHTML, CSS, Tag Libraries (custom tags)
· Understanding / experience in at least one DOM architectures: W3C, MSIE
· JavaScript along with DOM manipulation, W3C and/or MSIE DOM Event handling
· Experience of a page generation/templating technology (JSP, XSLT)
· Programming experience in Java, Struts or MVC/MVC2 pattern

BIG PLUS
· Knowledge of the intricacies of DHTML
· SSO, SSL, HTTPS
· Portlet development following JSR 168 specifications

NICE TO HAVE
· Understanding / knowledge of J2EE
· WebSphere experience
