Positions in Consumer Electronics

8-15 years experience with good knowledge of Real Time Embedded Systems Programming skills in C, C++, knowledge of Unix, Win-NT , Linux Abstraction and Design Skills
Experience of architectural activities in product development
Atleast 7 years experience in development of embedded S/W and 2 years experience in design Experience in S/W engineering methods and processes including fair knowledge of testing Systems Architects
Experience in multimedia (Audio/Video) domain connectivity (mainly wireless) domain Experience in defining overall architecture for Wi-Fi/Multimedia products and in product definition
Proven contribution to standardization
Must have gone gone through complete life cycle of at least one product (Definition to Maintainence)
Must have good experience in :- Communication protocol: 802.11 (a/b/g), HiperLAN , BT, 1394, GPRS- Multimedia domain: Audio, Video Standards(DVD Standards, JPEG, MPEG)- Qos and Security Issues- Home Networking; HAVi/JNI- Design patterns commonly used in wireless domain- Ability to analyze and debug complete system (hardware and software)- Platforms ARM (Ability to handle smooth switching between platforms) Managers/ProjectLeaders/Technical Leaders (Set Top Box Group)
3 - 10 years of Digital Set Top Box domain experience
Experience in handling Front End and Back end modules of STB -Cable/Terr/Sat.,
Experience in DVB, AV Processing, Middleware / CAS from NDS, Open TV,Nagra.
Experience in interacting and selecting Middleware suppliers & integrating Full Product SW Experience in ST Toolchain, ST20 / ST40 & STAPI ,
Experience in ST driver level, device driver and BSP development experience Consumer Electronics

Software Architects / Test Architects / Test Managers

8-10yrs Experience in Architectural activities in product development, at least 7 yrs experience in development of Embedded S/W, At least 2 yrs experience in Design, Experience in S/W Engineering methods and processes including fair knowledge in testing.
8 - 10 years experience in managing complex embedded software projects with exposure to CMM I and CMM engineering processes
Preferred experience in the following : Audio/Video Standards
Consumer Electronics product development & application knowledge
Embedded software testing methods and standards Wireless Technology

For all the above positions candidates must have a Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronics / Computer science.
